Put another way, conservatives are more responsive to negative stimuli whereas those on the left are more responsive to positive stimuli.”</p> <p>When listening to debates between people on the left and people on the right, I have frequently noticed that the people on the right seem to be on the defence more often than not, as opposed to those on the left. I always thought this was strange given that both sides feel equally convicted in their beliefs.
